Qualifications:
- Recent inpatient hospital coding experience required
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, DRG methodology, and coding guidelines
- Experience with EMR and encoder/CAC systems preferred
- CCS, RHIT, or RHIA credential preferred
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- No specific trauma experience needed, need to be strong all around coder
