Length of Assignment: Approximately 4 weeks
Required Credentials: AAPC or AHIMA;
Systems: Epic
Additional Details:
- Excel: High usage of Excel and must be able to enter data accurately and move within Excel without errors and with minimum guidance.
- Productivity: Charts 1.5/HR
- Testing: Yes – IP CDI Test
- Additional: Audits are auditing 260 CDS encounters for:
- Query Compliance
- Missed Opportunity
- Clinical Validity
- Query Structure and Format
- Timing
- Query Necessity
- Missed Opportunity
- Opportunity Identification
- Evidence
- Impact
- Supporting evidence of findings as necessary
- Results will be recorded by auditor at Provider level and Coder level.
